Hij scoorde wereldwijd vele hits. Vanaf 1970 was hij een graag geziene gast in Las Vegas. Daar trad hij op naast andere wereldvedetten als\u00a0Elvis Presley\u00a0(die tevens een goede vriend was van Jones) en\u00a0Frank Sinatra.
